Clean and comfortable at a good price. We stayed here May 31, 2024. We were attending an event in Fergus and this motel was the most reasonably priced and a short drive to the venue. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. There was a small fridge and microwave which we found useful. The bathroom looked like it had been recently updated, with a walk in shower rather than a tub. The free WiFi was fast and simple to connect to. In the morning there was complimentary coffee, orange juice, granola bars and bananas in the lobby.
Rooms were clean, nice big window that opened. Reasonably priced. Fridge, microwave. Wish there was a coffee maker in room but they did offer coffee in lobby. Walking distance to town. Would recommend.
Absolutely loved our stay at The Village Inn in Elora! The rooms were clean, cozy, and just a short walk from all the charming spots in town. What really made the experience special was how warm and welcoming the owner was—so friendly and genuinely helpful.
Friendly staff! Quiet place close to the downtown core! We walked it in about 10 minutes. Will be staying here for our future Elora vacations!
Cute,quiet and small comforable inn! Rooms are kept clean and comfortable. Good quality toiletries. Felt homie! Chinese food right beside the inn if you want food for your room. Other convenient stores near by. Will definitely stay again when we come to town next.
I’m not sure why the ratings seem low for this hotel. They were friendly, very accommodating and the hotel is literally a 10 min walk away from Downtown Elora, and even 10 min seems longer than what I walked to get into town. I probably annoyed front desk a lot since I’m somewhat of a germaphobe, so I kept asking for fresh towels, and they were kind enough to accommodate. They did share that they had a full house, but the hotel didn’t seem like it was fully occupied; though this made no difference to me, besides the fact that perhaps an early check in could have been accommodated. Besides that, I have no complaints. The room was spacious and clean.
Exactly what was needed for a short, one-night stay. Room was clean and lovely, staff were excellent, location was great.
Nice location nearby the Christmas market just a walk 8 minutes. Basic amenities specifically included microwave that’s enough for us. Don’t give too high expectations
